Vada became involved in the arts at a very young age with encouragement and support from her mother. She began painting in her early 20’s, first with oils and later watercolors.  Becoming more serious about her art, in her 30’s Vada took classes with Howard Hardy at Grays Harbor College.  After retirement, she set up a studio in the tri-cities area and focused primarily on watercolor painting, exhibiting in local galleries and County Fairs where she was recognized for both her watercolors and her mixed media painting.
